Scopes for handis

I've got a new Redfield 3-9 on my 44 mag and a 2-7 Redfield accu range on my 223. I like 'em both.

I like the Nikon ProStaff too. I have two of them. The Bushnell scopes I have on two other Handis and they are more difficult to set up- need either higher rings or hammer mods.  I did one hammer mod but chickened out when I cut the tip off the hammer, so I still had to use High rings on that Bushnell scope. I should have cut more off to use the Med rings!

Here's an interesting piece I picked up the other day on Amazon.com..made by UTG

  #RGWMOFS38-25H4.offset high profile adapter mounted as far forward as possible on H&R mount.

..gives approx 10" eye relief on the scope I tried it with....With the proper scope I think it would be A-OK............FYI
