Jesus rewrote the OT ? Really TM, you must be become informed:
Matthew 5:17-19 (King James Version)
"17) Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
18) For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
19) Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven."
As far as the Isaac vs Ishmael thing... you have to do a bit of "brushing up" there also...and don't be so caught up in blind denial..
In Genesis 17, GOD makes it clear that Isaac is the rightful heir to Abraham..
...And SCRIPTURES reinforce this fact on into redundancy....Deut9:4-6, 9:26-28,13:20,29:13 and 34:4..Joshua 24:3, 1 Kings 18:36, 2 Kings13:23, 1 Chron 16:16, & 29:18
Remember; the origional Ishmael was dead, buried and forgotten by 1 Chronicles..
Then to the New Testament, where the BIBLE insists;
Matthew, chapter 1 ..is all about the earthy line of Jesus having come through Abraham, Isaac & Jacob..right on down to Bethlehem... and this, while Ishmael's descendants were wandering around in the deserts of the ME, fighting with everyone they could find...even their own kinsman.
Besides the numerous citings of Isaac in the New Testament;
JESUS Himself assures us that the land & promise was given to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob... in (Matt 8:11), (Mark 12:26) and (Luke 13:27-29).
Now TM; that leaves you with a quandary..Whom do you say is not telling the truth..GOD, SCRIPTURE, the BIBLE or JESUS ?
Let us know your answer.
.....Until then, consider yourself...busted !
