Ordered a Tikka T3, anyone know what size scope will work with the standard rings? I've got a 3x9-50mm, just wondering if the rings will accept that large an objective.

That's too big a scope for the standard rings----I put a Burris Fullfield II 4.5x14x40AO that just barely---barely----fits on my T3 .223 with the included rings.

That AO takes up a lot of room-----but no way that 50mm is going to fit-----you are going to need high rings of some sort.

It was going to go on my 300RUM, but I thought about moving it to the Tikka, guess I'll get a 40mm...buy more!! :grin:

if you used the optilock rings go with med hight they are tall enough. the highs will have your cheek off of the rifle.
