Browning BPR .22 magnum
« on: February 05, 2011, 04:17:21 AM »
I recently did some gun trading and obtained a Browning .22 magnum pump in excellet condition.  The rifle is very accurate and fun to shoot, but I can't seem to find very much info other than manufacture dates . I have considered selling it and purchasing another CZ but I like the capacity of 11 rounds.

Greg - The BPR-22 magnum's are nice guns, and very desireable to collectors.(think: extra value)

Browning made them in LR & Mag, along with a look-alike semi-auto in LR, the BAR-22.

Both were designed to be sold/used on their own, or as twin/similar understudies for the centerfire Browning BAR & BPR line.

The fit/finish is among the best in the industry - certainly head & shoulders above anything out of Czechoslovakia

Thanks Rangr44 for the reply/info, the fit/finish is very nice. I also have a Browning BL22 and prefer the lever action, the only other pump rimfire I have is a Winchester model 62. Do you know what the going price is on the BPR .22 mag., I was thinking about $600.00.

Thanks again,

Greg

$600 is a good price for a BPR 22 mag if you are a seller...

Well yea-----------LOL. No, I decided to keep it, I could probably get $600.00 for it, condition is very nice, close to new.

Thanks for the reply
