Northern Deer Herds

Small article in the St. Paul paper indicated the northern herds are taking a hit this yrea.

This winter buries their food and makes the wolves and coyotes job easier.

Well between the extreme cold we suffered early in winter and the major snow I am not at all suprised.  I have had fresh tracks from the deer coming within a couple feet of my house.  I believe they are eating my wife's bird food.  Haven't seen the deer but I see tons of tracks.  I plan on getting the game camera out there.
