Cascade Short Bows
« on: January 21, 2011, 12:47:51 PM »
I do must of my hunting out of a treestand or stalking in heavy cover. I currently own 2 Bob Lee's 58" 60# takedown recurve and a 62" 54# longbow both are very fine bows and I shoot ok with them ::). But just recently I was introduced to the Cascade line of short bows. Dont know much about them but I have a very bad itch for the 48" and the 52" NightHawk and the GoldenHawk Mag. Just was concered with finger pinch, speed etc ???. I shoot three under so I'm not too sure finger pinch is an issue (could be wrong) ;D. Also have concern about poundage. Any and all input is welcomed!!!
We are not here for a long time...just a good time!!

Shouldn't have any problem with finger pinch. Be aware that some short bows stack pretty bad and a short bow is not as forgiving. That being said I hunted for several years with a 52 in. wing and still love to shoot it.

I can't shoot a short bow due to my 32" draw length, but longer bows are definitely more forgiving to shooter error and definitely more quiet and smoother. Don't work to well in tight spaces though :-\
