Hi folk's, I'm a newbe here. Can anyone tell when they stopped marking the receivers on the Buffalo Classic, Wesson and Harrington?  Thank's very much!!  michstew

Welcome! I think from earlier discussions it was in the early 2ks, but there's no way of knowing now because Gardner had the serial number year of production list and it was lost when they closed down and moved to Ilion in mid 2008. Unless the record has been recovered since, Ilion won't fit barrels to those frames now, although Gardner did, they had dedicated WH serial number prefixes.

Tim, how was the bore/chamber specs on the WH guns?
I have both the 45/70 and the 38/55.

Dunno, never had one, seems to me the 38-55 suffered the same issues as the others made prior to late 2006/2007.
