Coyote and the lady from New Yawk City
« on: January 17, 2011, 06:09:56 AM »
Thought you fellas might like this story...My brother and a friend had been coyote hunting in the Dalhart, Texas area and had a couple of dead ones in the back of their pickup truck and stopped to get gas.  A car with NY tags (true) was parked getting gas beside these Tennessee boys and the lady happened to see the coyotes in the back of the truck.  She apparently was cooing all over herself and asked my brother's friend "ooooh.....what's wrong with the   puppies?".  He rolled one over and said, "well, for one thing...he's got that big hole in him".  Apparently the conversation ended right there.

At least that is better than a big city fellow that thinks a Holstein cow is a big black and white deer when he pulls the trigger! :o

Maybe he was like a friend of mine. I was taking him deer hunting on my farm and on the way out to the stand I said "Dave, be careful, there's cattle in here".  You'd have to know this big boy..he says rather enthusiastically, "they're good to eat too!". ;D

Seen that before.   Spray paint on their sides takes care of the idiots,  "COW" in 4ft bright orange letters.

Down here in FL about 20 years ago I was hunting on some public land, came back to the check station and this wideeyed redneck was ranting about how he'd just shot the BIGGEST SPIKE buck he'd ever seen and needed some help to drag it back to the road.   A few of us went with him, walked out into the edge of the swamp and found a skinny light brown cow with two horns on it.  GW ended up arresting the idiot after he failed the sobriety test.   this  was the last time i hunted on public land.

Speaking of mental midgets a lady recently called the Fish & Game here in Kansas and requested they move the "deer crossing" signs further down the road as the deer were getting in her garden!!

My Dad tells a story of hunting at Camp Rucker with a guy from New York.  Yankee showed up with a field dressed Collie dog.

Although it is a very humorous situation when rural and urban cultures class in the case of the NY lady seeing coyotes shot , it is all too true. Often this clash causes a lot of ill will towards people who move into rural communities.

As a former New Yorker I think you all need to qualify these remarks with saying NYC folks! Cause thats where those arseholes come from!  Those from NYC are just inbred liberals!  Upstate and western New Yorker are country folks for the most part!  I know I was an am! I hate the big cities and NYC is the largest crap hole! :) ;D

So true. During my years working in the Rocky Mtns with out of state hunters I have seen'em all. Some from the South, Midwest Etc. I must say some of the best hunters I ever worked with were from New York state. They were some damn fine men.
