8 sets out

got 8 sets out today went to an old coal mine to get dry dirt and it was covered with coon and bobcat tracks so i made 3 sets in it was also some bear tracks hope he stays away.hated to leave the mine it was good and warm in there..tracks everywhere i set on the way back out i almost didnt make it up the hill snow bout 14 inches deep and its real steep i also seen fresh coyote tracks that were in my tracks i made on the way up the hill its bout an hour ride to my last sets.

tracked a coyote to one of my sets he got in but he got out..made a couple more sets in a new area

got coyote #7 today..had one visit another set had my trap to close to the hole i moved it back some.had a deer dig out one trap to get to the rock salt i been using then a coyote came and got the bait.atleast thats the way it looked by the tracks.got another set out where it looks like a bobcat has been walking around a rock ledge.

deer dug out another one had fox tracks right on top of the deer tracks..no more salt for me

another coyote today makes #9 in my fox sets i block them all around could tell by the tracks he went straight in.a big male in the same trap i got the small female in yesterday.makes 3 in this new spot where 4 old roads come together ive seen cat tracks there its a narrow spot surounded by cliffs.cept the spots where the roads come thru.
