Good Question?

I love mine, it has become my "go to gun",  prints under an inch at 100 yards with 50 grain hollow points.  I guess, I didn't realize thay had dropped it.

My friend has one and loves it. I think the reason it didn't last long is that at the same time the military was selling M16s and M14s to police agencies for 100 bucks.

It would be nice if there was a railed forearm option for the 7615 so a guy could run a more vertical grip up front.... I find the mag well protrusion gets in the way of my front hand while pumping in the typical 760/7600 position.

I have one that I finally started shooting about a month ago. fiocchi 50 gr. vmax do well. Although it seems to start stringing when the barrel gets warm. Not many rounds through it, maybe handloads would fix the stringing? I also noticed the mag well does get in the way a little, nothing to slow you down though. I wish I would have held out for one with iron sights rather than the ghost rings. at longer ranges (100 yds.) the ghost rings for me just don't cut it.

I'ld like to see a version in a 300 BLK. Could be a great utility rifle, legal for deer and could use ar mags with no modifications. Remington and AAC are both under the same umbrella, Remington is a major producer of the 300 BLK ammo. Be an updated ranch rifle for people who can't have or don't want an auto. Overlap a 30-30 in performance on the lower end but use a detachable mag and pointy bullets. Might be a tad faster than a lever action too if that mattered.  Bet it would be good for feral pig hunters in Australia. They like 7600s and 7615s from what I see online.

Looked like a 14 1/2 was catalogued too.  That was a product history link. Now if I can get the 7615p in 300 BLK with a ghost ring or better still a rail with integral ghost ring, I'll be very happy.  Market it as a youth hunter  Alas, to dream...

I could be wrong, but I think they are available to law enforcement only now?

Bought a brand new camo version in .223 awhile back for less than $400 at Bass Pro in Denver, CO. As far as why they didn't fare well, pump rifle buyers are a fickle lot.............
