Has anyone shot slugs through their Benelli Montefeltro 12GA
« on: December 15, 2003, 06:45:04 PM »
I am seriously thinking about getting a new shotgun and this time I like to try a Benelli Montefeltro.  I like to use it for bird hunting and ocassionally for deer hunting with the IC choke.

Anyone had use theirs for deer as well?

How good are this guns?

THey are Very nice guns.  I have the m1 field 12 gauge.  I am thinking about taking mine this weekend to get a deer with buckshot. it shoots a great pattern with the factory full choke.  (Mine does at least. )   Very lightweight.
That montifeltro is a sweet looking gun.  My cousin has it in 20 ga. and it is the lightest 20 i have ever laid my hands on.

Which one of the the two Benellies are better:  The Montefeltro Super 90 or the M1 super 90 field?  I have to admit that I like the Montefeltro looks better but it seems that the field one may be stronger.  WHere am I wrong?
