I was in a local Pawn shop today and saw a HR in .270 with a Simmons scope on it for $239.95.  If I'd seen it before the 30/30 I would have considered it instead.  It appeared to be in great shape.

I believe it may be calling my name.  I may go see if the guy at the Pawn Shop is interrested in my jon-boat.
