Shot my first bobcat this evening
« on: December 23, 2010, 03:52:12 PM »
with my Ruger 1-V 22-250.
It came into my greenfield right at quitting time.
First shot was a FTF; in fact it was the first FTF in about 1000 handloads for this gun.
But I was able to reload and get back on it.
About a 40 yard shot, standing in my climber.

You are seeing the exit side in the pic.
Load was a 55 gr SIE Gameking with 41 gr H380.
Shot a 150 lb buck in the neck at 40 yards a week later with the same load; no exit.
