Red Dot sight on 500 S&W

Anyone here have any experience with a Tru Glo red dot on a 500 S&W handi??  Will they hold up?? I just got the 500 and haven't been out yet to "feel the pain".  Not sure why I bought it (handi fever I suppose) cause I haven't seen a dinosaur around where I hunt in many years!!!  The elephants and rhinos seem to be disappearing also.  ??? ???

I would be concerned only because there are so many "cheapo" red dots out today...

I have a Tru glo heads up display site on a pistol and its been good and seems pretty well made. http://www.truglosights.com/IW_Products.m4p.pvx?;MULTI_ITEM_SUBMIT  I would say it would survive just fine on the 500. but they also have much cheaper models and those may not be as well put together...  maybe a Email to Tru-Glo??
