Shiver me timbers...and other parts
« on: December 08, 2010, 11:56:18 AM »
Boys, this global warming is getting old.  I bout froze my old self to death the last couple days.  Everything in the area thats used outside, won't start, or runs hot or leaks.

I'm trying to get psyched up to go hunting Sat. morning, but now I'm wondering if I can get one of those fancy insulated coverall  thingies.

Maybe it's old age, but I don't take extreme temps. as well as I once did.

I wonder if I built a fire would the deer come over to warm up?  It would be easier on us both.  I could let them get warm before I shot them dead, and I wouldn't have to freeze in the process......I might give that a try.

Kinda sorta brisk here in Bama too. I took a 310 mile round trip on my bike yesterday. No problem at all with bugs on my windsheild. I did invest in a better pair of gloves when I got back. Hands got so cold I had to stop a couple of times and hold them against the crankcase.
