i shot this deer shot with a carbine rem 7600 in 3006, being left handed the pumps are a natural  for me. i have left hand bolt rifles and use them, but this 7600 is my to go rifle in the mountians were shots are mostly up close and personal. i shoot 57grs imr 4350 and the 165 nosler BT and a 2x7 leupold scope with that combo it will shoot sub 2 inch groups. eastbank.

Nice buck Eastbank!
I got my first pump this year, a 760 in 30-06 and have so far taken a doe with it. I really like the old pump rifle and wish I hadn't waited so long to try one.
Mine shoots about like yours, <2"@100 yards, plenty good enough for deer hunting where I hunt.

Once again, Congrats on the nice buck!
GOOD SHOOTING!

OOPS!  The secret is out in the open now!  Remington pumps are super accurate!

Congrats on the dandy buck and good shooting!

I still have the 760 in .243 that Dad bought in 1968 for my brother and me to share.  We lived near Powell, Wyoming at the time.  My brother and me killed stacks of 'lopes and mulies with this tack driving Remington.  Stocks have been replaced and a couple different scopes over the years but otherwise its the same rifle.

I rec'd an older 141 in 35 Remington that shoots real sweet, too.  It was my Uncle Carl's rifle.  He hunted all his life with this gun in the foothills of the Big Horn Mts.  Elk, bears, and many mulies were toppled with his mighty 35!

Remington pumps are KEEPERS!

mine came to me with a 6 lb trigger pull. It was a tack driver even with the heavy trigger pull. I found a gunsmith in Virginia that works on em,sent him my trigger group and not very much money. It came back quickly with a reallllllly nice 8) 3 lb trigger. If any of you guys are looking to improve your triggers i reccommend the guy i used ;)

Between my 760 in 30-06 and my 760 in 35 Remington, I've killed somewhere over 60 deer with them.  Neither gun has ever failed me.  The 35 is a great brush gun, and the 30-06 excels at longer shots.  The 30-06 wears a 3-9X40 and the 35 Remington a 2-7X32.  Can't beat them in the deer woods!
The older I get...The better I was.
