First deer with my T/C Encore pistol

Yesterday was opening day of regular season here in western NY. I bagged a couple of does at over 100 yards with my Encore pistol in 308 Winchester. I used a 168 grain Barnes TTSX and both deer crumpled to the ground instantly.
I had previously used 45 Hornady 300 grain XTPs in 45 Colt out of my Ruger Super Redhawk and my Savage muzzleloader. But the deer couldn't tell the difference and dropped like a stone with the double lung shots.

Way to go! I used the same rig to take a doe first thing in Schuyler Co. I previously used a .357 Smith, so the .308 is bit of a step up for me. Now I'll switch over to the muzzleloader for the remainder of the season. Good luck to you.
