Options for a Finn Classic 512

Looks like I will be ordering a Finn Classic 512 soon and need some helpful advice. Main use of the rifle will be using the 9,3x74R barrels while big game hunting. They can be ordered with either a single or double trigger for the same price. Which trigger would you recommend and why?

Will also be ordering a set of 12 gauge (3 inch) barrels at the same time. Which barrel length? The shotgun will rarely be used and combination barrels will never be used.

  What are you going to hunt with the shot bbls?  Ducks out of the flats?  Or Ptmarigan on the hillside?  I've shot a LOT of birds in Caribou Hills, but it's hard hunting there without a snowmobile.  Anyway, i'd get the longer bbls for the flats, and a bit shorter for the hills...

  I always liked my combo bbls, as i could hunt caribou or any other big game, and still have the shot bbl for ducks or whatever else was around.

  For me, it's double triggers all the way!  I love the instant choise of bbls.

  BTW, i found some great bird hunting in the interior too.

Why would you never use the combo barrells? The combo barrells guarantee you'll have the right gun for whatever game you happen upon and the double triggers give instant selection...    But then I'm a old double shotgun shooters who grew up on 2 triggers. We kept a shot shell in one barrell & a slug in the other in the Florida woods most of the time. The combo concept is the same only gives you more range with the rifle option.

Have little use for a shotgun, in fact havent shot one for about 20 years. This is why combo's have no use to me. Love hunting with double rifles and places I visit while moose and deer hunting have good ducking hunting. But I would never start shooting ducks while big game hunting because the large game is my first priority.
Be nice to break up the moose/deer hunting with a day or so of wing shooting. Only need to carry another set of barrels instead of another weapon.

Most of the time I use a combo for the 00 buck or slug in the shotgun barrel.  This is for hogs, in Texas we dont have bear but if I was up north I would want the 3 inch slug or 3 inch 00 buck in the shotgun barrel for bear.
