Finally got the assembly done . Made carriage wheels from steel caster wheels $8.99 ea
Turned the casters to what I thought looked good .

After a bit of puzzelment I welded the carriage together .

After a few test firings it is good to go !

Next one will look better , I hope

The bore is 5/16" . I made a ram rod to clean out the primary fire cracker .
Firing it with breech open the rear ignitor cracker stays in place .

Good idea on the wheels , you successfully opened up making firecracker cannons to just about any one that wants to.

Also bought a new computer , a new Guitar , and looking @ a new dog .

PS: Also a new wife if the dog comes home ..... A Welch Terrier , a minature Airdale ....

I'm not much of a machinist, more of a cutting torch and welder sort of guy .

Can't come to your house to play tomorrow. Tomorrow is Mother in law's 82 birth day. We never thought she would make this one and it very unlikely she will see another....how about Tuesday!!

Fired the fire cracker cannon yesterday with a charge of 4 F between the two fire crackers . Nice report .
I have a video but the darn thing is too large to post .
This new computer is suposed to have editing software but I do not know how to use it , let alone find it !
The action does pop open but closes again . One firing shot out both the ignitor cracker and the one inserted in the muzzle . Cool to reports a millisecond apart. Could not repeat the shot so it must have been a fluke.
Some times both crackers fly out the end other times I need to push out the charging one from the breech .
Great toy , works well ,

I suppose you have Windoze 7 so I don't know if they are still supplying Windows Movie Maker but do a search for that and if you find it, you can use it for movie manipulation of some formats.

If you have it, let me know what you want to do and I will try to talk you through it.

Win 7 does not come with movie maker, but you can down load it free in the Live Essentials 2011 package. Click here.

I don't think Windows Movie Maker works with Quicktime and that is what his camera uses.

Windows Live Movie Maker 2011, which is the one available with Windows Live Essentials or by itself, does support the Quicktime format:

I gave up on Windows Movie maker a long time ago. I have also given up on most share ware as it is more cripple ware. It's a crippled version of a commercial program. You have to buy the whole program to get the features you need or want. Some of the free ware seems to be more a front for malware and spy ware.

I wanted just a basic video editor so I can post movie clips form my camera to the board so I bought Corel Video studio express 2010. It is a basic video program and not a Movie making program. It is compatible with all the current video formats. It's not all loaded up with fancy high tech whiz bang stuff that is way over my head and I would never use any way. It's simple basic and easy to use and is not that expensive. I can edit videos, do screen snaps and basic titles. I can save in various videos formats for use in different applications. I can save the videos and up load them to my photo host site and then.

I don't do this kind of stuff very often; I am just not afraid to experiment with it until I have figured out what I want to do, which usually is even more basic than the software capabilities.

I just got back from Southpaw place and got to see his FC....very nice, very nice indeed. He is about about out of Firecrackers. So since I am not allowed to shot firecrackers in the city limits I will take my supply up to his place. I certainly have no need for them.

I won't shooting my Krupp as it is going on a pedestal in the trophy room.

I got to look at the latest version of Windows Movie Make on Ernie' computers....very nice but why didn't they do that upgrade before i bought Corel.
