had a great couple of days hunting, kinda wet though in SE Texas.  saw lots of young bucks, one little spike kept chasing does that were running for their lives as if to say "look dude, it AINT gonna happen!"

last night took this doe, I thought she was a little older the way she was leadin her group around but turned out to be about 18 months old.

I honestly hate to come back to my house, wish i could live in my pop up  and spend each afternoon noddin off in my stand, riding my four wheeler as my daily driver...sigh ...but I'll be back out there soon.

man I never ever did think I had any muzzle flash till I touched that rifle off at dusk.

 :o
so get out there folks and get ya some.   ;D
