  When i graduated from High School, my best friends mom made me a quilt from Crown Royal bags, It doesn't get any more redneck than that. I carry one in my golf bag now for tees, balls etc.

I have one. Wife keeps some things in it as it's soft. Some one gave me a bottle of the high priced stuff one Christmas when I was still working.

Strange trivia:  For a long time it was hard for me to shake an association with Crown Royal being "girly".  Reason?  My mother used one of those as a makeup pouch for virtually my entire childhood.  I didn't even know that bag was from a liquor bottle until my mid-teens. (no more of them came into the house - my mom didn't drink, and my dad didn't typically drink liquor - just beer) :)

That said, I save em too.  Who can resist throwing out a perfectly good cloth bag?  :)  I'm a packrat though.  Any chinese food that comes in a plastic container I tend to save that container too.  They're good for storing brass, bullets, etc on the reloading bench :).

It is a redneck badge of honor to have the CR bags in every size they make. Especially the large ones!    ;D

I don't drink anymore but I still have a Jack Daniels collection of tins, playing cards and stuff. I used to have JD bottles in every size and shape they made. From the little shooters to the one gallon and special ones. That might not identify me as a redneck as much as it does being a drunk.   :-\

I also have a fine collection of Cool Whip salad bowls and a set of Parkay cereal bowls........Nothing but the best for me!    ;D

I also use snuff cans for fishing fly boxes and small parts and screws and stuff.    ;)

What can I say. It's part of my ethnicity.    :)

LOL.  That brings up fond memories of my grandmother's house.  Almost all her drinking glasses were retired Mt. Olive pickle jars :D.

That reminds me of the jelly jars that were made to use as drinking glasses after you eat the jelly. One of my aunts had those.   ;D

Crown ain't that expensive if you keep it light.  A small pint bottle is what?  $12-15?  You'll get 8 to 10 shots out of that. Unless I'm specifically out drinking with friends, an occasional shot/sip here and there is plenty.  

That said, though I do drink the occasional Canadian whiskey, I'm more of a fan of dark rum.  Hard to beat regular old Captain Morgan's Spiced Rum :).

Three of them I use for storing flyrod reels and the other two for extra blackpowder revolver cylinders!

Might want to double check that against the books.  I had always heard the same here, but then discovered that it wasn't actually the case.  You couldn't be charged for an open container if the bottle was stowed in an area not immediately accessible to the driver (ie, the truck bed, or the trunk of the car).  Did some checking on it after I ended up leaving a $70 bottle of scotch that was opened but over half full at a friends house because I didn't want to put it in the trunk of my car to take it home.

Move to Canada , last time I was hunting up there a buddy got a bottle of crown . He gave the clerk $ 100.00 American for a 1/2 gallon and got back $ 124.00 CAN. Where else does it pay to drink ?  ;D ;D ;D

Maybe, but they are great for holding small items.  I only have a couple.  One of them is holding .38 Special +P brass that I have sorted.
