Nueces Bay....What to expect????

Moving to Portland in a couple of weeks and Nueces Bay is in my backyard....literally, about 100 yards to the water. What can I expect for fishing there?

Pard I never have fished Nueces bay but have fished Matagorda, Port o'conner, and several spots in the laguna madre.

There is a veritable goldmine of speck and redfish down there!  I'm thinking there should be some good Info in the Texas fish and Game magazine  WWW.FishGame.com
