Does anyone know the advantages and disadvantages of carbon fiber barrels like the ones Virgin Valley custom makes?

Being light is a major drawback for some.  Depends on how you look at it.  You may want to look at the Carbon One rifles.  I am sure they have a website abd can explain the benefits.  Personally I like heavy barrels, so they are not for me.  I think they limit the possibility of rechamber if that is a concern.

From the gun mag tests I have read about them they would be great for long distance carrying. But I believe they have a bad tendency to string vertically if you are trying to use them as varment gun where you would be shooting long strings of shots and getting it hot. KN
