Talo 357 and 44mag?
« on: August 18, 2010, 05:58:46 PM »
Is the Talo 357mag and 44mag on sb1 frames or sb2 frames? I was hearing people say both. Saw a add on Gunbroker that says sb1 on the box but the gun barrel on the gun says sb2 in the pictures. here is the add http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=185652999. Does it matter if the barrel says sb2? I am askin because I thought about ordering one I like that it has iron sights but wanted to get it clear in my head first. If they have a sb2 frame that would be nice for a re-barrel down the road.
Thanks

Barrel being marked sb2 is of no value.  I"m pretty sure all 357/44 are coming from H&R are on sb1 frames, but Tim will know for sure.

SB1, look at the model number, both start with SB1, a dead give away, SB1-35T and SB1-44T. The only Talo on an SB2 is the 45-70, SB2-47T.
