I finally got to sight in my .223 Ultra. What a gun! While trying to sight it in at 100 yds I fired four shots at the target (about 1 inch high and 1.25" to the left) but only one hole appeared thru the spotting scope. When I dialed in to where I wanted to be I went and fetched the target.
No wonder! I had managed to put all four shots in a grouping I can cover with a dime. I continued sighting in at 200 and when I put a dimple in the center of the Visi Shot target I decided that was good enough. I have a redfield 2x7 with the ballistic reticle on this. So I eased it up to the metal targets at 400 yds using the 400 yd mark and took a crack at it. Shot 3 times and rang the gong everytime.
I can't believe this rifle.
