I would like to see a 357 Max in one, finally found a 375 Win and 7-30 Waters so those are off my list now. I think another run of 30-30 and 38-55 Cowboys with the 24" Octagon barrels would find buyers. I would HAVE to buy a Marlin MXLR in a 7mm-338 LE if it was ever produced.

Gettin tired of waitin for Hornady to bring out the 7-30 Waters LE ammo.

The idea of that Ruger 96 in 357 is really, really growing on me. And, of course, they might as well chamber it for 327 while they're at it, too! Please Ruger!!!

Ok...ever since I started shooting the .475 Linebaugh I knew I wanted one in a lever action. I know there has been a few conversions done but apparently they are a true pain in the butt-stock.

So bring on the lever guns in, smaller and handier is better than a long bbl. Give me a 20" bbl or shorter.

I already own it - A Browning BLR (pre-81) in .358 Winchester, loaded with 225 grain NP's. For me, just about a perfect all around big game lever action rifle for use out to about 250 yards.

I would like to see one of the smaller lever actions cut for the 32 Long cartridge. Out of a handgun it is a decent performer but out of a rifle it ought to be a great woods rifle. Lightweight and handy, maybe along the lines of the Marlin M39.

I would like to see .307/.356 Winchester M94AEs sans the tang or push button safety in Black Shadow configuration with the composite stocks and 24" barrels (14" twist barrels in both calibers). Hornady's .35 cal LeveRevolution J bullets would be excellent in the as would be cast bullets.

I've kinda ignored this thread until now I guess mostly cuz I don't "dream" of lever action rifles. I own several and there are a few others I'd like to own but none I'd really call dream rifles.

I've wanted a rifle in .25-20 since I was a young boy likely single digits age when I found a freshly fired and still bright case in a stream. I finally fulfilled that long held desire by having Wayne York turn a .22 Hornet barrel into a .25-20 on an NEF Handi rifle I bought for that purpose.

Still I've long wanted it to be a Winchester 92 not a single shot rifle tho I suppose the rifle that long ago fired that case I found could as easily have been a single shot as a lever gun. But I would like to own a Winchester 92 or clone so chambered. I doubt it will happen tho as they are out of my price range.

Now if I were ordering up lever guns other than that one I could think of a couple I'd like and they have several things in common. I'd like the metal work to be stainless steel and the stocks to be gray laminated wood. I'm not much of one for scoping guns really but one of the two kinda deserves as scope so it would likely be a Marlin and be chambered to .356 Winchester. The other would be a Win 92 clone and chambered to 44 magnum. I could toss in a third in .38-55 I suppose and it too would be iron sighted like the .44 mag so perhaps an SS clone of a Win 94 for it.

I don't expect to do much of anything to obtain any of them tho the SS .44 mag might come home with me one day and then I could see about finding the gray laminate stocks for it.

I also would like to see a 327. I'ld like stainless and laminated like my Marlin 41 ltd., but would take it as I could get it. Would hate to see it come without the loading gate like the 32 H&R cowboy. The Ruger 96 in 327 would be ore-ida too. I likes my orphan calibers! But the less popular stuff will never have many models to choose from. Which explains why I ended up with a cowboy 32 with no loading gate.

The first thing I thought of when reading the title, was a 30-06. Browning makes one, but for some reason I just don't count it or even consider it.

My dream lever action rifle, would be a safely tube fed 30-06 with the accuracy one can expect from a savage bolt action, in either a laminate or synthetic stock that won't get beat up by the rain. I'd love to hunt with a gun like that, but that just isn't gonna happen. I hope that savage brings back and updates their 99 series of lever actions.

Win 94AE 16" Barrel .357 with a Nice Ruger single action side arm also in .357 with a 4 5/8" barrel.

45-90 to get greater reload flexibility than the 45-70, a 416 Barns ( and of course the very find 416 Barns brought in to production ) both of those in a model 1895 Marlin and lastly the 460 Smith in a model 92 .

Don't know if it will make a difference or not but I've been going to the Ruger site and sending a message to their CEO about once every two weeks or so. Each time I ask them to produce an American made quality 1892 clone. I ask for .45, .44, .357 and .327. Right now, the Italians and Brazilians seem to have the clone market sewed up. I'd rather buy American and I'm sure most others would too, especially if the gun didn't have to fixed out of the box to make it run right. Of coure Ruger already has some lever actions, no reason they couldn't expand their chamberings. I would mind seeing their 77/44 with expanded chamberings even on a special run. I'd probably buy one of each if they did.

that is a good question, ive never seen it either, althogh totally doable in a contender or like pistol. prob just a mistype.

I'm just wondering what pistols were chambered in 25/20WCF? I always thought it was a rifle cartridge...

After thinking over what I replied I have to change my mind.
I really don't want another lever except maybe a good Win model 71 in 348.
I have about all the other calibers I want.
More than any gun I would like someone to bring back the double rim fire 44 Henry ammo.
I would love to be able to shoot my 1865 Henry just one time.
I use to have a standing offer in one of the gun papers that comes in the mail.
The offer was $100.00 for just one Henry 44 rim fire that was guaranteed to fire.
