357Max/35 Rifle Bullet Question

Looking for Bullets to play with for my new 357 MAX.  I have read where 357s have ended up reamed to 35 Remington.  The 35 Rem. jacketed rifle bullets are .358, and jacketed 357 pistol bullets are usually .357.  Are the .358 diameter 35 rifle bullets okay in a 357 Max?

I shoot hornadys 180 ss/pb and speers 180 soft point both .358"

alot here shoots the 180gr hornady ssp's

i can't find a better bullet for any of our max rifles than the 180gr xtp

In my 357 Max I worked up a load for the 220 gr Speer #2439 that is totally awesome on feral hogs and feral dogs (stem to stern penetration) at 50 or so yards. Load came from a old Speer manual so it is over today's max.
It shoots well enough to hit a pop can at 100 yards .Took me a lot of years to wake up to the fact that a hunting rifle does not have to shoot a 1/2 MOA group to be a good hunting rifle. It  just needs to  shoot the first one to point of aim and be the right choice for the game it is shooting at.

Yup, took me a while to realize this too. Makes life a lot simpler, though from time to time I still like to try to put them all through the same hole. I shoot the hand cast Lyman #358627 (http://www.lasc.us/FryxellLyman358627.htm) lives up to it's reputation as being a versatile bullet.
