Planning on mounting a Leupold VX II 2-7 on my 44 Magnum using Leupold PRW rings.
Just need to know if I need Low or Medium height PRW rings?

i have the same scope and have had it on a couple different Handi's. The medium rings always worked for me and the low rings might work, but you may need to take a little off the hammer spur to use low rings

Gendoc, Is that the 'thicker' factory base also? FWIW, Ive mixed & matched my rings and bases a bit, and the thinner Weaver base can cause trouble with some rings (probably the low type, but try what youve got).
