Disappearing thread???

A couple of days ago I put a quick note up here about a TCR barrel I had just put in the general classifieds. Now it is AWOL. I looked and did not see any rule about this here or on the classifieds forum, but then there are so many that I may have missed it.
If I broke some sacred taboo, I honestly apologize. However, a note that this is the case before just deleting my post might have been nice. There are classified forums for Contenders and Encores, but not for TCR items, that's why I thought a heads-up to the TC aficionados here might be appropriate. Thanks.

Classified posts on discussion forums are not allowed period.  I am not the mod for this forum, but I did point your post out to the mod.  I just removed a want to buy from one of my forums.  It happens so often that those of us who moderate get sick of all the posts we have to remove.  Read the rules and follow them and you won't have any more posts disappear.

As I said I looked through the restrictions for both forums and did not see this. Could you direct me to where this is posted? Thanks and at least I know now who removed it and why. That's really all I was looking for.

Classifieds are for buying, selling and trading. Discussion forums are for discusstions not for referring folks to your classifieds. As I recall it's basically stated in that way in the rules.

Any and all posts on discussion forums trying to send folks to an ad on the classifieds will be deleted. It has always been that way since day one here and that was a long long time ago.

I have seen almost every caliber that TC made for the TCR, but almost never run into a 7-08. Is this the rarest caliber, and what barrel lengths did they make it in? Thanks.

I noticed it sold rather quickly when done IAW the rules without posting to the Discussion forums. Things priced fairly sell pretty quickly here without any need to tell the world via the discussion forums.

It may be a burr for you as well if you moderated and had to deal with this as much as we do.  The rules are simple, well posted, and regularly ignored.  He doesn't have to print it and stick it anywhere.  There aren't that many rules.  A quick read is all it takes.

I was poking fun at myself here for not paying attention. Sorry it was misconstrued.
Every forum has it own set of rules and I visit a lot of them. Not an excuse, just pointing out that I'm easily distracted.
