I am having MGM build a barrel in 19 Calhoon for a new ground hog rifle. I had 4 stocks to choose from. I chose #4. Which one do you guys like?? Tom.

If those are from Clay at Luxus, you can't go wrong with any of them. I have 5 sets from him for encores and a Ruger #1 in process. The last pic is an unfinished one I am going to lower the comb on and finish myself for my peep sighted 405 Encore.

I would've chosen #4 too. I like the contrast between light and dark colors. #2 is more uniformly light and 3 uniformly dark.

I like the grain in #4
a lot
but prefer the style of #1 - just never liked thumbhole stocks. I see lots of potential in the grain in #1 with some work.

Love those lefty thumbholers. I've gradually made the switch from a righty to a southpaw shooter and had to give up my thumbhole stocks. I've been using ambidextreous stocks for a while, but am now ready, I think, for a purely left handed stock. Had to switch because one eye had gotten older than the other.
