I haven't tried any of the Deaton, but really like this new foaming bore cleaner. Outers, Break-Free and others make it.  I don't know which one is best though.  I have a bored, old retired friend who tested several different solvents by leaving them in a small container overnight with a bullet soaking in them.  The darker the fluid in the morning, the better it cleans. He recommends the Outers/Gun Slick foam. ;)

Thanks, Dinny

I really like 'Ed's Red', but I suppose some of this new fangled stuff might have merit. Since I have a lifetime supply of Ed's I wont be the one to see it the stuff works better or not. If somebody else knows, please tell me.....
