220 and 240 is the same (almost)
we had 220 here to until a coupple of years ago when they changed to 240
nothing needed to be changed , not even the light bulbs
todays stuff is marked 220-240 volt
yeah we got 50 hz here, but dont think 50 or 60 will make amy difference for the electronic
for electric motors it will change the rpm slightly , a 50 hz motor on 60 hz will have a slightly higher rpm and torque . and the oposite the other way
I just hope that you can use it , that wax pencil is a professional denta lab equipment and I couldnt think of anyone who would need it better than you .
its adjustable between 50 and 200 degrees celsius, but most waxes melts between 55 and 65 degrees
for soldering I mostly have it set at 58-59 degrees celsius
you just need to test it at your wax in that temperature setting and see if you need to rise or lower the temp a little .
I like to have it set to where it just melts the wax , I think its easier to control the soldering that way
for a wax with 58 degrees melting temperature I set it to 58 0r 59 degrees
if its set to 65 for example it will get more difficult to control the soldering and its easier to make mistakes
please dont do the same mistake as I did today gary , I dont know how I did it so please dont ask how .
suddenly when I was working with a scalpel I found it stuck in my stomach

unfortunately it wasnt deeper than 1/8" or so , if it had been deeper I could have lost a pound or so
