Is there any difference in recoil in the .300 WSM 180 grain VS 150 grain?
I read an article earlier this week that implied there was, but I did not see how that could be the case.

It comes to about 3 pounds less with the 150 gr.(23.5 lbs.) as compared to the 180 gr.(26.3 lbs.). Other things can come into play but this is fairly close. Lawdog

When pushing a heavier bullet (like 180 grains rather than 150 grains - or even 165 grains rather than 150, and so on) there is more rearward force (recoil). Whether a shooter notices the additional recoil is another issue, but there is indeed higher recoil.
