Job offer
« on: May 28, 2010, 06:52:04 AM »
So, did Congressman Joe Sestak really get an offer of a job in the administration in return for not running against Sphyncter, or did he lie?  And what good is a law prohibiting this type of thing if you can just have an agent (Bubba Clinton) make the offer?

It's also illegal for politicians to take a bribe for votes etc., but I guess it's okay if your agent accepts the bribe.  Oh, but it happens all the time, so I guess that makes it okay.

Conspiracy anyone?  If this were a Republican operation, the liberal media would be demanding blood and it would no longer be so much about the crime, but about the cover-up.

The Democrats AND THE REPUBLICANS, have been doing this for years so everyone might as well get over it. All they have to say was, yes I offered him a job, but not to get him not to run. Nothing is going to come of this, and Fox News is spinning their wheels. The very best that could happen, is that the Republicans can come out donned in their angel wings, and halos, and condemn the Democrats for being corrupt, which is what their doing. It is once again, the pot calling the kettle black.

i will agree that i dont expect much of anything to come of this.

My point is myron that, God grant me the strength to change the things I can, accept the things I can't, and the wisdom to know the difference.

When the Dumycrats break the law, they claim that the Republicans do the same and that makes it all right.  Why doesn't that work for the Republicans?  Yeah, they might make the claim that the Dumycrats do it, but it doesn't keep their feet (Republican's) out of the fire.  So far, the Dumycrats are giving vague examples, but nothing that is exactly analogous.  They haven't pointed to a situation where the Republicans actually broke the law in a similar way.  However, just this morning, the "administration" has admitted that a job was offered to Sestek to entice him to not run against Sphyncter.  The plot thickens.  They've been caught lying and they know it.  Now they're going to go for full disclosure to try to make it go away.  The butt kissing media will now go into their water carrying mode.

Actually I think Cain was a Navy fighter pilot, and really can't make up his mind whether he is a Democrat or Republican. He says he's a Republican, but acts and votes like an Idiot, which could be either a Republican OR a Democrat.

I think the regime is sweating big time, or at least I hope they are.  They know full well that an investigation will show that their intention was to manipulate political candidacy in a way that is clearly illegal.  If what they did is nothing but politics as usual, then what the hell is the law for in the first place?  Oh, oh, I forgot; it's only to be used against Republicans, or maybe independants, but certainly not applied to Dumycrats.

This whole affair is not a big deal in the scheme of things, but it just demonstrates once again that rules and laws are only there to be broken when it's convenient and only possible when you have a compliant media.  It's a good thing that the libs have a double standard, because absent that, they have no standards at all.

First off, Fox is not spinning their wheels. Even if no special investigator comes out of it..the voters of Pennsylvania are hearing the sordid tale.
..Chicago politics is so dishonest..this Chicago mob probably do not even realize when they are lying ! Pathological liars, they are..

Should there be a "special counsel" investigating ? There was one appointed to investigate the "outing' of that non-operative, CIA pencil pusher, Valerie Plame. The investigation continued, trying to smear Cheney...even after the democrat attack dogs KNEW it was Richard Armitage who blew the cover.

BTW: the Dems never even tried to prosecute Armitage..and did nothing when Plame's husband, Joe Wilson was caught in a big, fat lie.

Now that was politics as usual.  The Republicans under the gun and being investigated for something that didn't even happen and wasn't illegal to begin with.
