   1967 He says.... We looked it over and it seems to be all there, and as you know, that's half the battle. Nothing seems to be froze up.  Story is, it ran last about six years ago. Suppose there are still some parts around for these? Bet there is. We've sure seen and worked on worse. Not sure what He's gonna do with it yet - told him to at least get a can of Kroil and start going over everything. 
  How'bout it Oldyardog? If I remember right, you'r really into old BMWs.

Excelant find. It may start with a carb cleaning. Check the oil, trans, and rear end to make sure threr is no water in oils. Check that the tank is not rusted. You can hunt down most any part you need for it. Join the BMW Vintage club it will help you greatly also the Internet BMW riders and the BMWMOA. If I could still work on them I would be trying to get it away from you. They are simple to work on.

Just clean her up and get it running,it will be worth more in the original configuration.

  Heard over the weekend that he already sold it... Guess we could have made him an offer when it was sitting out here in the yard, but  Lord knows we don't need any more projects.  May be for the best......or it could end up getting parted out? Wouldn't be surprised to see it for sale out in Davenport this fall.
