Binoculars with a Digital Camera
« on: November 19, 2003, 04:44:54 PM »
First I want to say thank you to Graybeard for such a great place.  I have been reading the forums for a while and there is some great advice here.  I was wondering if anyone has used binoculars that have a digital camera built into them.  Are they all they are hyped up to be?  Is there any particular one that is better for its price?  Thanks for the help.

Binoculars with a Digital Camera

I will say that the Bino cams out take what we call false images. What I mean by this is that they dont actually take a picture through the lens you are looking through, it is just a camera fastened securly between the two binocular tubes. I hear that Outman will be introducing a Bincoular next year that will be one of the first TRUE digital bino cams that will actually take the picture through the lens (dont ask me how). To answer your question, go to ebay and look up digital bino cams and you will find that some of the sellers will display pictures they took using the cams they sell.
Hope this helps
