My Daisy 880, dandy little gun!

So far this 880 has proved itself worthy to hang on the rack with other good guns. With the right pellets, shoots with great accuracy! I've taken several one shot garden pest, and a couple rabbits with this airrifle. 8 pumps, and a crosman premier hollow point, and the open sights it came with. This 880 came right from the Daisy plant, not from a store. Thanks! scout4<><

Thanks for posting on the 880. I have two of these that I have had for while. I am going to start shooting them again soon. Is the crossman pellet you refer to the only one you tried or just the one you got the best accuracy with. What is the weight of that particular pellet? What ranges are you shooting it at with open sights? Charlie

Hey Charlie! The crosman hollow point is the one that shot the best for me, I've tried other pellets, but the crosman premier hollow point works the best for me! It is a hunting pellet, so I'm figuring it weighs a little more than a match/ wadcutter pellet. I do not know the weight, but for a .177 cal. pellet it hits hard! 20 yards is about the max. I have shot for accuracy testing. Thanks! scout4<><

I shot 4 different pellets from one of my two 880's yesterday. I got a good group from Crossman match wad cutters and Gamo domed. I got decent groups from cheap Crossman domed and cheap Daisy pointed. I am going to shoot the other one this week. I will scope one or both of them soon. Charlie
