I've handled one and got to look it over and it was QUALITY. The owner said it shot great and he won't keep one that doesn't and he's had it several seasons.

They look nice and the action is really strong.   My hunting partner has one and we had a heck of a time trying to get it to shoot though.   Most people claim theirs are really accurate.  He just got unlucky I suppose.

Our family owns three of the steyr foresters. We are extremely pleased with them. They are all in different calibers and they all are extremely accurate, have a great trigger out of the box(and they are adjustable). They are also nicely finished with nice wood. I am a big fan of the tikka's but a bigger fan of they steyr's. They usually go up in value also. Steve
