Our calls, letters, emails, and all out protest to the Fed to "Kill the Bill' were ignored. I know there are some who think that it is over. It's NOT! Now we need to keep a watchful eye on potential threats from the Fed, and let our voices be heard at the states level. Most have forgotten what states rights are, but they are laid out and guaranteed by our constitution. We as states have the right to reject this health care abomination! Thirty-eight states have either already passes are attempting to pass legislation to sue the Fed over Health-care. Let them know that their constituents want them to proceed with those steps and take any more required to make sure that the Government takeover of private industry is STOPPED!!! Last night we saw a huge win for Government and a huge loss for the American citizen and Freedom! Don't give up! Keep fighting! Had our founding fathers given up at the first signs of loosing the war we would have NEVER KNOWN FREEDOM!

What next? I believe it is immigration so the 12 million can get the free healthcare. Sources also state that the 12 million is more like 21+ million illegals.

I think it's going to take a good long while before anyone really knows what the end result of all this is going to be. When the cost for the changes that are mandated start to surface, the reality should start to set in and I'm betting there'll be more change to come.

As written the health-care reform is not affordable. And there's still the threat that a lot of doctors might quit. Speculation is that we might have to settle for seeing a nurse, or practitioner of some sort. No fears though; the same people who are giving us health-care reform are going to give us immigration reform. We'll be able to recruit doctors from India, Mexico, China, Bangladesh, etc., etc.

It's time to call DC and let them know how you feel.
For a few of those rascals up there it won't matter.
But a good many of them like living up there and will listen.
We can rest assured that this is just the beginning.

Calls won't work. Votes is what will do the job. Vote them out of office. Our problem is that the leadership is from solid Democratic areas and they will not be changed. There is a lot of people out there that was behind this program and are very happy right now. To them everything is rosy.

So ya'll think it will take a long time to see how this works out ? I wish i could share that thought . If I were a country holding US debt I would be calling it in . If I were a country holding large sums of American paper money I would be getting rid of it . No I think we were the last hold out in this world and now that we have changed we will lose friends in the world fast .

The illegals have free health care now, they just never pay. My income has been cut in 1/2, theres no way I can afford ANY KIND of insurance. Now they say I'll be fined if I don't buy insurance?? What can they do??? Put me in jail??? As an inmate I'd get free medical care I reckon. I heard that one of the swing dems was promised 3 new airports for his district, hmmmmmm. All scum. POWDERMAN.

We have passed a health care plan written by a committee whose chairman says he doesn't understand it, passed by a Congress that hasn't read it but exempts themselves from it, to be signed by a president that also is exempt from it and hasn't read it and who smokes, with funding administered by a treasury chief who didn't pay his taxes, all to be overseen by a surgeon general who is obese, and financed by a country that's broke.

What the hell could possibly go wrong?

Of course the little communist Pelosi, says that life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness is supported buy this piece of crap they call national health care. I wonder what her line of thinking is when government will fund abortions, they will give old people a pill or a wheel chair, and we will be paying 60-70% in taxes. Actually, no less than four states are filing lawsuits, challenging the constitutionality of the law. Now it takes a judge to put a hold on the law, while determination is made about that issue. Let's hope there's a judge somewhere out there with grit.

Correct me if I'm wrong BUT the vote was in the house only and is almost certainly not anything similar to what the Senate last voted on. Do they not yet have to work out a compromise or get it passed the Senate before it goes to be signed?

I don't think so GB.
All they had to do last night was vote on if they would deal with the amendments latter on down the road and then vote on the house bill.
If they both passed that was the end of it as far as they were concerned.
The main HC bill does not have to go back to the senate.
THE LIAR is scheduled to sign the main HC bill at 7:15 am tomorrow.
Only the amendments has to go back to the senate.
If they change anything in them then only the amendments has to go back to the house again to be voted on by them.

The main HC bill is a done deal!
It will be law!

Now if the congress keeps its word and goes back and fixes the amendments is yet to be seen!

How ya like that for ramming something through congress and down the peoples throats!
