I had posted that I downloaded watched The Pacific tonight off the net. I had a member PM me asking where he could find it because he would like to see it. Well it is a little involved but you can download almost any media you would like to watch or listen to by following these instructions. I do this by downloading BitTorrent a peer to peer file sharing network.
1 First you will need a BitTorrent client to download the files. I use ABC it is free and easy to use. go here and download the latest version.
http://pingpong-abc.sourceforge.net/download.php2 you will need a media player to play the movies and music you download. Windows Media player will work for music but it does not have the right codes for most movies that you will download off the site that I will show you in the next step. The media player I use is VLC Player and is also free. You will not get any spam or virus from downloading from the places I send you to get the software you need so don't worry about that. Go here to get the VLC Media player.
http://www.videolan.org/3 All you need to do now is go to this site and download almost anything you want. Some files on this site could have a virus so be sure you scan all files you download with virus software before opening them. I have not had a virus in a couple years now by doing that first before opening it.
http://isohunt.com/Once you are at this site just type in the name of the movie you want in the search box. Once you do your search you will see off to the right at the top it will have a S and it will also have a L. THe S stands for seeders and the L stands for leachers. The higher the numbers under those letters the better. Never try to DL a file that has 0 under those letters because it will never start or finish.
Good luck to all you who want to give it a try and let me know how it goes. I have been doing this for many years now with no problems. Dale
