Two More Months before the Season Opens
« on: March 15, 2010, 02:53:14 PM »
To All,

Just wanted to start the count down to this  years Frog Season. It starts the 15th of May in Delaware and goes to the 30th of September. I have two months to go. The knee deeps have started to sing and I saw one post of a guy down South who has seen frog eggs. I know some likely ponds from rabbit hunting this pass season. I have take them with  my hands to a 22 pistol...... I think I will start looking me a good slapper stick (SlingShot) and get it ready. I have a factory make one, but it just aint the same as a good maple slapper.

Looking forward to getting my feet wet!

Real fun hunting those little guys in the south!
A big bull frog and a cotton mouths eyes are about
the same distance apart! look the same
in a beam of light. Gigging a 4 or 5 ft. cotton mouth is always fun!
