We can still defeat this monsterous Gov health care bill. Call or write your Representitives and tell them that if this bill passes they will be collecting unemployment. Just like the 18 million other Americans  they have put out of work.

My represenative voted against the bill the first time-------and he is a democrat.  :o I had called him before the vote to express my opposition to it but didn't think it would make a difference but there was a bunch of us that contacted him opposing it. I called and thanked him for his vote. I called last week and asked that he do the same on this vote.

Over the past six-eight weeks I have spent a lot of time with doctors.  Between the Heart and Cancer doctor I have visited, been probed and biopsies by a least a half dozen.  I talked to several of them about the Health Care Bill; those that would discuss it said they would likely quit practice if it passed.  One told me that the government is already in his business so bad that it was practically impossible to provide care to most patients.  He further stated, that medical schools were finding fewer and fewer people going into a specialized field because of the pending rules.  As a matter of fact he stated his daughter had changed her field from Cardiologist at the U. of Texas Health Care Center and was transferring to Texas A&M to become a Vet..

It may become a task to find a doctor that will take you if it passes…………

Healthcare reform wins over doctors lobby
The American Medical Assn., once opposed to any government overhaul, now has more to gain, including a proposal worth billions of dollars to physicians.

WASHINGTON — The American Medical Assn., after 60 years of opposing any government overhaul of healthcare, is now lobbying and advertising to win public support for President Obama's sweeping plan -- a proposal that promises hundreds of billions of dollars for America's doctors. Of all the interest groups that have won favorable terms in closed-door negotiations this year, the association representing the nation's physicians may have taken home the biggest prizes, including an agreement to stop planned cuts in Medicare payments that are worth $228 billion to doctors over 10 years.

Not exactly. As I recall once a congress person is kicked out on the street they continue to draw their last salary for life as a retirement package. It matters not if they served only one term or if they were there their entire adult life nor how old they are when removed from office.

How'd you like that severance package?
