My "new" Ruger
« on: March 13, 2010, 05:11:51 AM »
Couple of years ago, I bought a Ruger M77 MkII Frontier in .243win, of my brother.  I had a bit of a problem getting fast loads for it, and being not a patient man, I bought a Shilen barrel and customized the stock a bit (a new one is waiting to be on budget) and it is henceforth known by my friends as Frankenstein's rifle.  Since I was already customizing it, I changed the scope from a Bushnell Elite to a Meopta 3200.  I wanted to show it to you.
I sport a hefty 11-87 for my benefit as a proud waterfowler......
