It's been a while since I have pulled my Marlin 336 30-30 out of the safe. I had some crummy rings
on it that wouldn't hold the scope no matter what I did with them. Lapped them. Tightened the hell
out of them and the scope still moved. I had an extra set of medium Warne Maxima rings and I got to
thinking that this old girl deserves something better. I changed them over and the Bushnell Banner
3-9X40mm should be good to go now. That sweet old rifle never looked so good to me! It's going with
me next time I go to the range! What's not to love about a Marlin 336 30-30? A true classic!
