6mm BR Who has one and  How do you Like it for Paper and Varmints?
  Do you turn necks?   
Whats the diff. Between the 6mm BR Remington and the 6mm BR Norma ??

Since mine is a tight neck can use either paper or varmits and my reamer is about 30yrs old long before Norma made BR cases.  In the mid 80's Rem made a 40x BR rifle chamber for the 22Br/6Br both had tight necks had that lousy green color stock. 

There a gunsmith here his site http://www.bryantcustom.com/services/availabl.htm he the first one to get the BR case to feed in a 700 magazine and I think his reamers may be for a no turn neck he doesn't list what brass to use but you can give him a call.

I think I have a lifetime supply of Rem cases for the Br but if doing one today for varmit and alittle paper shooting I'd do a no turn neck use the Lapua cases.

I had one built by Hart couple of years ago standard chamber 6mmnorma br. Great shooter 70 gr smk's some 2015 powder= little bug holes at 100yds. I never shot varmits with it, but imagine it would be fantastic. The difference between the two I think it comes down to neck lenth the longer being the norma, not 100% sure maybe somebody else can give ya a better explaination.

A friend of mine has one a full blown custom on a Mauser action. The gunsmith who made it and his son promised it shot in the .2s and less. I don't think he's gotten many groups under an inch even using the ammo they provided with it. Best groups so far have been with his own reloads but he is one big time disappointed owner.

Go to www.6mmBR.com and check around there.  I've shot three and all were supremly accurate.  In fact were all probably shooting in the .3's which is the best I've ever done anytime, any where.

  He should have built it on a 700 Rem. action, i bet his results would have been much better!

I sure won't blame the 6br for not giving the groups the so called gunsmith promised it would give.  Rem made the 40x in 6/22BR you get test target with 2-5 shot groups in the .2's along with the load and those rifles were made 25yrs ago.

A couple of gents that I shoot with on a regular basis have 6mmBRs built on custom actions and they've allowed me to shoot their rifles.  Recoil is very minimal and their rifles are extremely accurate.  First time I shot one of the rifles at 100 yard target bullet hit dead center of a small bullseye.  Owner handed me another round to fire and I told him no thanks, I can't do any better than my first shot.   Not sure if either have done any varmit hunting with their BRs, but seem to remember a brief conversation about it being good for that and one of them was interested in having a 30BR built for deer hunting.  By the way, they do turn the necks of their brass as part of their reloading for extreme accuracy.

If you can't get a 6br to shoot under 1" with a custom gun something is real wrong. Mine is a LRPV in a 1-12 twist that shoots the 80 grain bullets mighty fine.
