Not much goin' on
« on: March 05, 2010, 06:18:48 AM »
in the Wisconsin outdoors forum  ??? Hard to believe the DNR hasn't tried to pull anything in a while. Anymore wolves end up as an icicle? Anybody mistake a coyote for something else? (you know what I mean) Turkey season is coming, can't wait to hear the stories of the elusive birds with the brain the size of a pea, letting all it's enemies know where it is and then coming to a call only to be blasted in the head with bird shot at 30yds. Damn  ;) that is exciting. (I got a tag for my backyard, end of April, Yea, I'll be there) But after a long winter of chasing wolfs, er, I mean coyotes, anything is acceptable. (I said chasing not shooting). Where is everybody............mogwai?( I may be starting to miss his liberal banter, WOW :o it seems it HAS been a long winter)..........yoohoo!....anybody  ::)

.........if it ain't rainin' tomorrow, I'm gonna try and kill a few bowlin' pins and maybe a box or two of clay pigeons. They ain't much for eatin', but the season is always open and you don't need to bury them in fear of loosing you hunting privileges.

I got drawn for the Spring Turkey hunt - late may. I'll be there too, except I'm using my new crossbow instead of a shotgun.

I bought a new 4 5/8" SS Blackhawk in 45 Colt the other day. This came up suddenly because I plan to load for a relatives "Judge", so I thought I'd get something in 45 colt too. I've also been cutting some PRIME firewood lately.
