Ordered My Barrel Today

I picked up my custom frame today---------It is nice. When I came home I called T/C and ordered my barrel.
There is a 10-12 week turnaround----Not too bad.

I ordered a MGM barrel on the 12th of last month and I was told 4 to 6 weeks so I wouldn't call 10 to 12 weeks not too bad. of course I have heard of some places taking a whole lot longer than that.

I've got several MGM barrels and never waited longer than 6 weeks My T/C Custom Shop barrel took 10 weeks Bullberry barrels took a whole lot longer Future barrels will be from MGM

10-12 weeks in March is acceptable-----------I have lots of time to get it set up by Fall.
Last Fall they told me it would be up to 16 weeks.

How about telling us about the barrel you ordered. I ordered a .357 magnum 18 inch stainless contender barrel.

Oh I guess I left that out???
It is a 24inch SS Encore Taper in .338 Federal-------It will be by bear gun BUT if it shoots as good as my .257 Roberts barrel, I will be carrying it for deer also!!!
