Well, two weeks ago I was looking over a BAR right next to the Benelli semi-auto display in our local gun shop. A particularly grizzled old gent came in with his son and extolled the firearm's virtues quite impressively. He then bought the kid one on the spot and said "Merry Christmas". So, I picked one up and it sure does shoulder nicely. It is expensive enough that I would want to know it offered some performance advantage over the less expensive Browning before I layed out the shekels for the Benelli. The nice surprise was that there is a version with iron sights. How about you buying one and providing us with a report?
