Does anyone know where to get a schematic for this pistol, having a few problems getting it back together. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Hello Spotdoctor
You will have to be a little more specific of what you are working on here ? At that time span S&W made the I Frame and Larger K-Frame revolvers in this configuration. If you tell me what is giving you trouble I might be able to walk you through it.. Here is an Internal shot of a Pre-War M&P That would be the K-Frame size revolver, I hope it helps..Regards, Hammerdown

I took the right side plate off , there is a little piece that has a spring on it. I think it pushes up against the lever that turns the cylinder. I can't seem to get it to work right now. It dosen't turn the cylinder everytime you pull back the hammer now.

Hello
It sounds as though you are speaking of the cylinder hand Tension spring, That hooks into the trigger assembly then travels up into the cylinder hand slot. Remove the hand & Trigger from the revolver by Pushing it back far enough to clear the recoil shield, wiggling slightly so the trigger can clear the frame stud in the revolver. Once it is out, Look close inside the hand assembly there is a small coil wound spring. Make certain this spring is hooked behind the cylinder hand and the other end of it is through the small hole in The Trigger assembly Pre-Loading it, you will need a thin Blade screwdriver or a Tooth Pick to do this, there is not much room down in there. Once it is back in Place it will Pre-Load the hand in a  forward Position. Place the hand and Trigger back in the revolver by Holding back easy on the hand to clear the recoil shield Placing the trigger over the Frame mounted trigger stud and it should work correctly. I hope this helps, Hammerdown
