I went to the Ronald Reagan Library a couple of years back. They had a copy of the oval office there and
Some info on it. Reagan respected the office of the president so much that he never entered the
Oval office unless he was wearing a suit and tie. And this no class idiotic bum disrespects the office like this! What a piece of garbage!

We should inundate the White House with emails demanding he keep his feet off of our furniture.
This arrogant, immature & self-centered man has no sense of honor, or of simple decency.
While this posture is disrespectful in any culture, it is absolutely never done in any executive setting.
Further, in over half of the cultures of the world, it is recognized not only as disrespectful, but as an extreme insult.
He thinks of himself as a king -- and not as a servant of the people, humbly occupying our White House for his term in office. Electing him was an enormous mistake -- and will cost us in many ways, for generations.

I wonder what John F. Kennedy put on that desk? Marilyn Monroe perhaps. Or Bill Clinton. Monica Lewinsky perhaps? It's a piece of furniture, not a shrine. The Washington Monument, and the Lincoln Memorial are outside in the weather, although the Lincoln Memorial should be in Illinois where he's appreciated.

I'm more interested in what Congress is doing in the "Halls of Congress" than where president (little p) Obama puts his feet. I'm also more concerned about the people he's talkin to in the picture than where he puts his feet. It's a damn English made desk, and that's all it is.
In three years or so, it will be the Republicans turn to put their feet on the desk, and I am sure they will. Reagan is dead. He won't be back, and the people voted this clown in, just like they'll vote the next clown in, whether he be Democrat or Republican, a clown is a clown.

I can tell from the pictures that the desk Ford has his feet propped on is not the same desk as the current prez. So you found a picture of Regan without a suit and tie WOW. I think Reagan was one of the best Presidents. Sounds like you voted for the new piece of crap we call prez. Please crawl back under the rock you come out from under.

Feet on the desk?? I put my feet on my furniture and I wasn't rasied in a barn.
I have seen pictures of other Presidents with feet on the desk.
I put my feet on my desk at work.

I don't care if he puts his feet up on "his own desk" and shows disrespect for anyone on the other side of that desk, ....but....this isn't "his" office, nor is it "his" desk"...it's our office and our desk. He is just being allowed to temporarily use it. His disrespect is obvious, it is towards everything...the desk, the fellows he is talking to, and his attitude towards us, the American people he supposedly represents. A person can downplay this, trivialize it, however it is reflective on this man and his agenda which doesn't include this country, UNLESS it is bent to his will. Bullc__p!

The president does NOT furnish his own office unless he wishes. But who would want to when you can use a desk presented by Queen Victoria or artwork from Remington? You may not know but the US government has one of the best art collections in the world. The State Department in particular has some great stuff. The Ambassador's residence in Rome use to have one of Michelangelo's models of "David" displayed. Not a copy... one of the models that Michelangelo made prior to completing "David". The president (and I believe Cabinet secretaries and Congressmen) has access to government warehouses of historical furniture and decorations. The president can and does request changes to the decor. He can put his own stuff on the walls if he wants to. I saw the changeover twice from the halls of the West Wing... here is a link with a short description.

Nope... the walls and general arrangement look exactly like the Oval Office as I remember it. There are other rooms but none are rounded like that. The real working office for the president (at least when I worked there) was NOT the oval office but an office down the hall a bit. The Oval Office was for show. Not sure how Obama uses it though. Could use it for every day work. I'm not a photoshop expert but I don't see anything there to raise doubts.
